No Time? How To Make More.
If your home was on fire, no matter how busy you are… wouldn’t you make time to do something about it?
So it’s a bit of an illusion – this “I have no time” syndrome.
In short, we make time for things that we feel are important in our lives. The problem lies when everything becomes “important.” And when everything APPEARS to be “important” you surely have “no time.”
So what can you do?
*Stop making everything so important. It’s not – and you can tell your boss I said so (unless of course, you’re your own boss). :)
*Shut things off. You don’t need to answer your email or text messages 24 hours a day just to FEEL “important.”
*Stop thinking that the busier you are, the more important you seem to be. That’s a lie (and it’s probably the biggest robber of your time).
So stop making everything you do seem a lot more important than it really is. It’s not!
Once you realize this, you’ll have all the time you need.

A lovely thought, really, and it gave me a chuckle to boot.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Steven,
Thanks so much for your comment and checking out the new blog. I’m soooo glad you got a laugh out of it – I really think it needed to be said.

Aaaaahh! This was great! I totally see what you mean. I have the syndrome whereby all of my time needs to be “productive” and simply sitting and reading just for pleasure or not even reading, just sitting, is uncomfortable because I am not “getting anything done”. It;s as if I must constantly prove that I am achieving something or the earth will stop spinning and drop me off. Hahahaha! “you non-achiever, off to outerspace with you…!”
Very nice, and practical too
