Music For Work

A New Kind Of Music: Helping People Work Better.

Although a lot of music can be distracting to someone like you and I, there is something to be said for a great song – one that relaxes yet awakens a part of our brain while trying to get some work done.

On Sale Now (2010)

Great Music Increases Productivity.

It sets a mood. A tone. Maybe even relaxes us before a big stressful day. Putting us in “the zone,” it often helps us get more done in less time without us even knowing it.

As some dentists are seeing the benefits their patients have over listening to relaxing music… perhaps going into work is like going through a root canal.

But a great song or album should take our mind off of these painful things – in return, not only increasing our productivity… but also our happiness (both inside and outside the workplace).

“Music to be able to play in the background and not get distracted by the lyrics is key! Highly recommended for chilling or to do work to.”

-Matthew Goldfarb

Escaping WorkTo Take Flight.

For this reason I’m releasing my fifth album entitled, “Flight.” As an extension of my last album “Fighting To Be Me,” your going to find that the instrumental music and ambient textures set a positive mood and tone for your day.

With 12 new original tracks it’s less than 30 minutes in length.  Designed to help you get more done in less time… what other music does that?

I encourage you to check out his music, especially his new album “Flight.” He calls it music for work.  I agree. I am working right now and listening. It’s everything you would expect it to be after getting to know him. The music also comes with some cool bonuses.” –Greg Rollett

We know what we have to do, but sometimes it’s a fight to be ourselves. Sure we do what we have to do to pay the bills, but inside we know that we’re much more than our job title.

So we put up a fight.  We put up a fight because sometimes… there is no other choice.

As heard on Mtv & CMT’s, “Two A Days,” “Engaged and Underage,” “My Supersweet Sixteen” and “True Life.” Jared blends real instrumentation with pre-recorded loops to create a warm and fuzzy texture called, “Ambient Rock Electronica.”

“At 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning my elderly aunt called me to accompany her to the emergency room. She’s fine and all, but what I wanted to share is that I grabbed your CD and took it with me in the car to listen to while I drove to meet her at the hospital, which was 30 minutes away. I had a chance to listen to your CD twice that morning! I LOVED hearing you and your music while I was driving in the dark, a bit anxious about my aunt’s well-being. It really helped to comfort me to hear your music that day!”

-Alicia McLucas

“Jared Matthew Kessler is an extremely innovative artist and musician. Listening to ‘Awake Again’ and ‘Electronic Aironotic’ really evoked my curiosity for what the rest would be like. Quite honestly, this album is highly diverse from one song to the next and keeps your interest from start to finish. The instrumental tracks all seem to tell a transcendent story without needing words to do so, while the songs with lyrics are captivating and sincere. Choosing a favorite isn’t easy. I definitely recommend this album.”

-Amanda Leigh

“Done completely on his own, he’s put together a GREAT collection of soundscapes, melodies and rhythms that compliment one another.”

-Sean Weih

In addition to “Flight,” and “Fighting To Be Me” I have three additional albums when I was doing the singer/songwriter thing.

“I’m Listening” was recorded live at “The Little Theatre” in Farmington, NM. The one below that was my first album – recorded in Philadelphia, PA (which you can probably tell by the nice haircut).  Then an album called, “The Story Of A Temp” was lost in the shuffle somewhere and is no longer available to anyone but me and possibly some future grandchildren.

Both can be heard or downloaded at www.itunes.com/jaredkessler. If that doesn’t work, please just type “jared kessler” into the iTunes store and hit “search.”

Be good to yourself. Download a few songs and tell some friends.
