With The Time We Spend Writing For Our Business… Is It Worth The Cost?

Let’s be honest, there is a cost to everything (and not just the money).

For some it costs time. For others it costs relationships.  But is it worth it to keep on doing more and more and more… just so we can save a few bucks, be accepted into the group of overworked and under-appreciated individuals or have control over every little thing in our business?

We proclaim and read everywhere “do what you love, do what you’re passionate about” but how can we if we’re bombarded with the tasks of running everything ourselves?

We can’t!

We write and do a lot of things ourselves by default because we’re trying to save money everywhere we can, or even because we’ve hypnotized ourselves to believe “Oh I can do this.”

But when is enough enough?

ISN’T IT ABOUT TIME TO PASS THE WRITING ONTO SOMEONE ELSE?

Start Delegating More.

Believe it or not, some people’s businesses are growing rapidly.  Others are trying everything they can to have it grow… in both instances, you’ll probably want to start delegating tasks to someone who’s more qualified than you are.

I’m not saying you’re not a great at what you do…

What I am saying is, you’re probably spending at least a few hours a day writing; sales pages, smart pieces to improve your web site stats, blogs, job ads, brochures, catchy promotional pieces/literature, etc… and you’ve been thrown into it with little knowledge (or not) of how to get the attention you deserve, create the rapport you need and make some sort of sale to the individuals reading what you’ve written.

Question.

What if you could give your next writing project to someone else who cares as much as you do?

One that produces better results with your writing and… gave you more time to spend doing what you love or helped you focus more on producing the necessary income you need for your business?

I’m not saying to stop and hand over all of your writing (because like me, you probably love doing most of it).  What I am saying is that…

If certain writing projects are costing you more than the time and energy involved and what it’s producing, maybe it’s time to pass it onto someone else?

It’s More Than Just Writing.

Through results driven “Copywriting,” you’ll be able to get your prospects attention, create rapport and make the sale quicker, easier and more effectively than your competition (or just writing things yourself).

From newsletters, job ads (for recruiters), signs, banner ads, sales letters, press releases, web sites, tv commercials, blogs, book/movie/artist launches, newsletters, online communities… a gifted Copywriter uses well crafted words, phrases, sentences, concepts and ideas that… if done right…

The person reading whatever is written, feels understood and is led to trust and buy whatever it is you’re selling WITHOUT you or them noticing that they’ve just been sold.

We Both Benefit.

Once you’ve contacted me and we both decided that you can benefit and feel comfortable working together (taking over the writing you don’t have time for or dread doing), you’ll get me as your Copywriter to give you:

*Your time back to do more things you love doing because you’ve delegated the time you spend writing to someone else that cares just as much as you do.

*Peace of mind that you’ve just hired a one of kind uniquely gifted and creative partner that TRULY cares about getting you results.

*Trust and understanding of what you’re customers are REALLY coming to you for.

*Flexibility and expert knowledge from an individual that isn’t attached to any certain method (only that it gets you results).

*The benefit and professionalism of someone that is a chameleon who has worked in a variety of different settings (from pharmaceutical companies, to a major record label), working with everything and EVERYONE in between.

*Your happiness back which is effecting or infecting every aspect of your business AND personal life.

The bottom line is this… it benefits both of us to have you succeed.

And when you’re able to free your mind and give some of your writing to someone else that cares as much as you do, you’ll run a happier business and in turn… more people buy more of what you want more frequently.

Frequently Asked Questions With Simple No Nonsense Answers:

1 – How do I hire you?  What is your process?

You contact me here for that.  Just let me know when a good time might be to talk about your project (along with a brief description of it).  Then we’ll just schedule a time to talk and see if we’re a good match to make some magic happen.

2 - Why should I hire you?

After much thought and analysis…  it’s what I’m innately gifted at.  It’s how I’m wired.

3 - What type of “Copywriting” do you do?

Any type of writing involving any type of medium that helps you or your company sell something with words (recently working with an individual who owns a recruiting firm in Australia, a graphic designer who needed help with a client of his who is redoing his web site – selling mobile business offices, and a startup company’s web site revolutionizing the divorce industry).

4 - Do you work with any size company?  Individuals?  Creatives?

I do work with any size company or individual (weight doesn’t matter – just kidding).

But it really depends on how busy I am and what I feel I can take on to get my clients the best results.  I can’t and won’t just take a job just to take a job – because it doesn’t do either of us any good.

I take jobs that interest me and feel 100% confident that I can do.  With that said, I welcome the opportunity to work with other graphic designers you’re already using, current material you already have, Creative Directors and the like.

I DON’T work with scammers (you know who you are).

Here’s my portfolio to review and see what I’ve already done (as you’ll see it’s pretty varied).

5 - What do you charge?

Depending on whether or not we previously worked something out, most of my Copywriting services will be billed at an hourly rate – with a 4 hour minimum (per project).
