About
“Who am I?” It’s a question that I think many people ask and love to tell you about. I’m not sure that I do. I would rather have you form an opinion about me from what I do, rather than what I tell you and…
Who knows, maybe that says more about me, than anything else? Maybe it doesn’t.
In short, I guess I consider myself a lot of things. Does it really mean anything? I really don’t know.
“We should have more people in the world like you my friend (always positive and willing to be themselves). The best thing about you, is your outlook on life. It takes a great inner self to be that disciplined. You are a great individual.”
Elio Garcia – Pasadena, CA
The Informal Me:
I’m an entrepreneur. A soul proprietor. An difference maker. A writer/copywriter. A composer (who can’t read music). A musician. A producer. A person who just does things. A fitness expert and… an individual who operates his business and personal life 100% DEBT FREE!

My Before & After Pics
I’m also a talker – not a “speaker” (two different things). An author. A mountain mover. A business philosopher. A “creative” and… whatever else you want to call me.
So there you go. Hopefully you can form your own opinion about me and love me so much that you can buy everything I have out and spread the word.
“You are an amazing man, Jared.”
Elizabeth Vargas – Newport Beach, CA
The Formal Me:

Recently releasing his first eBook entitled, “Your Uncommon Guide to Finding the Ultimate Mentor,” Jared is looking to constantly push the envelope in helping people to help themselves.
“Very uplifting, definitely inspired.”

The Long Drawn Out Version To Read Over A Green Tea Soy Latte With A Friend You Haven’t Seen In A While At Your Favorite Cafe Down The Street On A Warm Sunny Day:
Born in Brooklyn, NY I started my career as a singer songwriter back in 1997 – growing up in various parts of New Jersey. Armed with a passion in music, a need to write, a degree in psychology, and an acoustic guitar, I tend to make a way where there might not be one.
No money? I made my own (working various “survival jobs” to fund all projects). No publicist? I learned how to create it on my own (receiving national press recognition for some interesting achievements). No label support? I started my own. No one to book shows? I booked them myself – heck I even marketed and promoted them myself (pre-internet people).
In short, I became a self-sufficient one-man machine that could not be stopped despite any and all circumstances I faced along the way (using a broad range of books on psychology and “Personal Development” to help me help myself).
400 shows later though, I was beyond burnt… ran out of money… and ended my solo acoustic career back in 2003. My last show was recorded live at “The Little Theatre” in Farmington, New Mexico at what I consider “the peak” of my career. This was my 3rd self released album entitled, “I’m Listening” – which I seemed to force a lot of people to do back then.
Months later, I signed with a highly respected talent agency (a “well known” casting director approached me playing on the strip in Venice, CA). Despite having appeared in various commercials, music videos, and tv shows, it still paid minimally. So I went back to music.
With the music industry taking a plunge my career went along with it. Tired of living off of credit cards to “just hang on,” I decided I couldn’t live like this anymore. I stopped everything.
With “The Billionaire” at my side to help me to help myself, I was still far from where I wanted to be. Frustrated beyond belief, I stopped communication with him. Putting the music and book aside, I decided to pay off all of my credit card debt and moved back in with my parents. As I’m sure you can imagine, this wasn’t too fun for a 27 year old single man.
Although everyone thought I gave up, I knew that I would be back – I just had no clue when. Doing whatever it took to pay off all of my credit card debt, I worked my ass off – doing just about any job I could find.
Some parts of the day I delivered pizza and mopped floors until 2 am. Other parts of the day, I answered phones and… two years later I had to move on from that. So I relocated back to Southern California for a second time.
With a transformed body, mind and spirit, I finally started to see my hard earned results pay off. Still working two jobs to “pay the bills” and fund my upcoming projects in music and writing, I got let go from “survival Job” #2,345,876 (just kidding – but it felt like that).
Up until that point, I was reading and applying a book a week for the past few years but nothing seemed to change. I started to think that all of those “self help gurus” including “The Billionaire” didn’t know what they were talking about. Why? Because nothing I was doing was working!
Once again on the verge of giving up, currently living in a garage behind an elderly ladies house, I had no income coming in. Then my laptop died. Going against everything I was taught, I decided to finance a new one, and something magical happened. I found the technology I needed, in order to make the music that I truly wanted to make since day one – almost 10 years ago.
Teaching myself piano, and learning how to use a program called,“Garageband,” I released my 4th album. Is there any wonder that it’s called, “Fighting To Be Me?” Again on my own label “Moving Mountains,” my music was finally heard on “True Life, Two a Days, My Super Sweet Sixteen, and Engaged and Underage” on Mtv, Mtv2, Mtv3, and CMT.
Returning back to the book idea (taking six years to put together and fund), my first book entitled, “The Poet and the Billionaire” was finally published.
Feeling as if I’ve beaten some incredible odds, I began embracing the concept of “Moving Mountains” as a way of life. While carving quite a unique and authentic path for myself, I love using it to provide a simple and effective message through everything that I do.
Don’t just be you… Live you!
To be continued…
“Thanks to the support of Jared and people like him, many artists like myself have carried on making their dreams come true.”
Emily Haston – London, England
“As you know there is a growing need for the millions of Cultural Creatives in the world to know how to make life work for them. This is an important, because it supports our soul’s desire to fully self express and be creative at a very high level. There is virtually nothing to support people in this arena. It will help people who do not have the business savvy to make their “creative calling” more functional, adaptable, and sustainable for them.”
Paul Jamarillo – Portland, OR
“Very cool….and sooo different. It’s so edgy. Very cool!”
Michelle Demuelle - Baltimore, MD
